At ABCDino Academy, our Pre-K room is designed for the way young children actually learn—through hands-on exploration, meaningful connection, and intentional routines that support developing minds and growing independence.

Our day flows in short, purposeful learning blocks that keep your child engaged without overwhelm, paired with plenty of unstructured play to spark creativity, problem-solving, and self-regulation. We avoid screens and electronic “busy toys,” choosing instead activities that strengthen intrinsic motivation, real-world skills, and a genuine love of learning.

What sets our Pre-K room apart is the level of thoughtful planning and intentionality woven into every part of the day. Each activity is chosen to respect developing attention spans while maximizing curiosity, focus, and joy. Children practice empathy and leadership through inclusive group work, multi-age community interactions, and guided collaboration. Multiple daily circle times create moments for children to share ideas, build confidence, and develop communication skills.

Free play and gross-motor time help them move their bodies, build resilience, and get their energy out in healthy ways. During project time, children dive into their interests, express creativity, and learn early presentation and storytelling skills. Monthly learning themes help them connect to the world around them and build a strong foundation for Kindergarten and beyond.
